Chapter 1018 - 772 - Rumors_3

With Nim leading the way, Tilian at least didn’t have to think of ways to find Elsa anymore. But there was a tiny problem; Nim was currently so full of Power of Light that it actually made Tilian feel even worse. However, since Nim was so enthusiastic, Tilian couldn’t really say anything about it and just followed behind him.

"Say, Nim, have you heard all those rumors about Elsa?" Tilian asked while walking.

"Hey, actually, I’ve been wandering around that area to see for myself who’s spreading these rumors. I always suspect it’s the work of First Prince Sajia. Neither in brains nor in brawn is he a match for our Princess Elsa. The only thing he can use is subterfuge," Nim said.

"Does Elsa know about this?" Tilian asked.

"Know? Of course, she knows. I told her as soon as I found out," Nim said.

"What did Elsa say?"

"She said nothing, still busy observing these Ghost Spirits."

"Isn’t that a bit inappropriate? It’s too passive."

"I think so too, but what can I, a mere guard, do?"

Nim shook his head, continued walking, rented a small airship, and took Tilian out of the urban area.

Nim usually flew on his own, but now Tilian’s body couldn’t take it, so there was no choice but to use the airship.

Once they left the urban area and the Power of Light weakened considerably, Tilian started to feel a little better. Below them, the ground was covered with huge marks, all left by the Boundary Monument as it moved.

"The battle back then must have been incredibly fierce," Tilian said.

"It was bloody," Nim said. "But because we had Princess Elsa, she led us to victory again and again. It can be said that all the territories recovered by the Heaven Realm were the merits of Princess Elsa. It’s just a shame that the ungrateful Sajia always feared someone sharing his land and constantly hindered Princess Elsa from gaining her rightful domain. With no other choice, Princess Elsa had to relinquish her power, a real pity." As Nim spoke of this, he still seemed rather indignant.

"No, I think you might have misunderstood," Tilian said.

"What? Where did I go wrong?" Nim asked, puzzled.

"I believe Elsa didn’t relinquish her domain out of compulsion, although I’m not very clear about the complete circumstances. But considering everything Elsa has done since returning to the Heaven Realm, her giving up the domain must have been her own intention, and not something she was forced into," Tilian said.

"Hmm, if someone as astute as you also thinks so, then I believe Princess Elsa definitely has her reasons for doing this," Nim nodded.

The airship slowly descended into the old Imperial City, where some Ghost Spirits curiously approached, looking at the airship.

"Don’t be afraid, these Ghost Spirits now obey Princess Elsa’s orders, they won’t harm you," Nim said.

"I’m not scared, nor do I think they can hurt me," Tilian said.

Soon, within the Imperial Palace, Tilian saw Elsa. She was amidst a group of Ghost Spirits, who were hooting and howling, doing something unknown.

Hearing the commotion, Elsa turned her head, "Tilian?"

"You can actually recognize me, that’s surprising," Tilian said.

"You don’t seem much different from before," Elsa said.

"Is that so? I feel like I’ve changed a lot." Tilian said with a bitter smile on his face. Now, he was just a shell, as life had long since left his body.

"I can see through your soul, so in my eyes, you are still the same," Elsa said with a strange glimmer in her eyes.

"Is this Ghost Spirits’ ability?" Tilian changed the subject.

"Yes, ever since I absorbed the powers of Ghost Spirits, I’ve gained many new and interesting abilities, this is one of them," Elsa said.

"Do you know about all the different rumors going around the Heaven Realm recently about you? Even though it’s my first time here, I heard lots on the streets," Tilian said.

"I’m aware of it, Sajia’s latest effort. And I have to admit, it’s quite effective this time. Although it hasn’t caused panic, it has sparked huge discussions, saving me the trouble of advertising," Elsa said.

"Advertising? What do you need to advertise?" Tilian looked at Elsa, puzzled.

"Of course, it’s about the unique tourist destination I’m about to open for business! The ancient Imperial City occupied by Ghost Spirits!" Elsa said loudly.
