The Emperor donned the headband as usual.

But Long Yi shook his head, stepped forward, and held his hand above the Emperor’s head.

"Apologies, Your Majesty, we must personally verify it."

Energy seeped from Long Yi’s hand, causing the Emperor’s headband to emit a glow.

The Emperor heaved a sigh of relief, genuinely frightened. Seeing Long Yi admitting his error, he knew this matter should be settled.

"Being cautious is good, but if such an incident happens again..." the Emperor said coldly, staring up at the towering Long Yi.

"There won’t be a next time," Long Yi replied.

After this incident, the Emperor had originally planned to take advantage of the situation to ask Henki and Aisa to immediately wear the headbands, but before the Emperor could speak, Long Yi spoke first.

"All done," Long Yi said.

"Done? What do you mean ’done’?" The Emperor was confused.

"Just now, Aisa completed the modifications to our own headbands. Our headbands now possess the same defensive capabilities as the ones you gave us," Long Yi explained.

The Emperor was stunned. Could this be possible?

Indeed, while Long Yi was speaking, Aisa had been examining the headbands all along. However, given the urgency of the situation, the Emperor hadn’t realized what Aisa was studying—could it really be this?
