To Long Yi’s surprise, the black substance initially attempted to reconstruct the entire Giant Dragon! It devoured the chunk of flesh and instead rebuilt a small dragon, the size of a palm!

The small dragon appeared but showed no signs of aggression, merely lying there dumbly with breathing and heartbeat, even generating faint Dragon Power over time. However, it lacked Divine Power and was void of the alloy of Crystal Poison.

Clearly, this black substance can reconstruct a dragon in various ways but cannot endow Dragon Clan members with Divine Power and Crystal Poison alloy out of thin air. This means that even though the pseudo-god fused Divine Power, Giant Dragons, and Crystal Poison alloy together, fundamentally, these three elements still exist independently.

Long Yi turned his attention to this black substance, which is a very simple Primordial Substance aggregate. Their method of clustering together was similar to that of Leviathan Worms, possessing an extremely basic intelligence. They hide within Dragon Clan members’ bodies, replacing blood, and filling most of the space in their organs. Whenever any part of a Dragon Clan member is injured, this Primordial Substance immediately transforms to replenish the necessary parts.

Without a doubt, these substances were created by those entirely mouth-like, cloud-like monsters after devouring all life on an entire planet. It bears resemblance to the ’Medical Gel’ that Giants once invented. The difference is the life substances in Giant’s Medical Gel are synthesized, while the pseudo-god creates them by devouring the life of an entire planet.

What surprised Long Yi was that, upon examining the genetic material of that chunk of dragon flesh, he found that its genetic material had been rectified and was completely free of the curse.

However, after checking each piece of dragon flesh, Long Yi immediately understood.

Although these pieces of flesh came from different dragons, their genetic materials were identical. Not only that, but there were marks left by Giants within the genetic sequence!

This implies that the genetic material of this dragon comes from a Giant Dragon that had been precisely sequenced by Giants! That Giant Dragon was not cursed! And these dragons were actually clones!

Long Yi didn’t dare guess where the remaining Giant Dragons of Dragon Star had gone, but as far as he could see, those Giant Dragons he had fought were already completely puppets created by the pseudo-god.

As for the source of the Divine Power of Divine Giant Dragons, Long Yi speculated that it must come from a contract between the pseudo-god and the Divine Giant Dragons. The Divine Giant Dragons worship the pseudo-god madly through the contract, allowing the pseudo-god to constantly, directly obtain a faint Divine Power from the Divine Giant Dragons. And when those Giant Dragons need to fight, the Divine Giant Dragons directly obtain Divine Power from the pseudo-god via the contract.

Long Yi holds this view because he did not sense Divine Status in these so-called Divine Giant Dragons. Without Divine Status, it means the Giant Dragons cannot recover Divine Power on their own, so the only source for Divine Power would be from the pseudo-god. Having gained some clarity on the pseudo-god’s rationale for creating Divine Giant Dragons, Long Yi immediately started working on upgrading the Silver Dragon.

Unlike the dragons of this world, Silver Dragons are more pure and more intelligent. They were not created by a god and do not possess the flawed beauty that gods pursue. The Silver Dragons’ thinking is aligned with the Elf warriors, and although the Elf warriors can be rigid, their combat style is incredibly flexible. This means Long Yi does not have to worry about the clumsiness of these dragons.
