Chapter 1659 - 1241: Overinterpretation

The Beast Tamer didn’t finish cursing before its newly regenerated nose was sliced off again.

"You..."

Clang!

Chopped off once more.

Just like this, the Beast Tamer’s nose kept regenerating and being sliced off over and over.

"How odd, I thought even without a nose you could still absorb it. But it looks like this nose works on its own," Darkness curiously remarked.

The Beast Tamer went berserk, as more than a dozen identical noses suddenly protruded from its neck, but before any suction could occur, all of these noses were cut off as well.

"It’s useless if you can only rely on your nose. If that’s all you’ve got, I suggest you just wait for death because you’re too weak," Darkness said.

Boom!

A beam of light as thick as a planet shot forth from afar; Darkness deftly dodged. Taking advantage of this moment, the Beast Tamer finally managed to regenerate its nose.

The source of the beam was the Giant Beast from beyond the star system.

"Mars, keep it entertained, don’t let it interfere with my fight," Darkness commanded.

"Yes, Master!"

The tiny golden sphere Mars immediately flew out. In the Divine Realm, mutual attention doesn’t depend on physical size or appearance, but on the strength of one’s Divine Status. Although Mars was small, to the Giant Beast, it didn’t appear small at all. In a previous battle, Mars had absorbed an astonishing amount of Divine Status, and even though it had transformed into a golden sphere through spatial compression, it was still a force the Giant Beast had to deal with cautiously.

"Alright, now that your nose is restored, but if that’s the extent of your abilities, I still suggest you obediently await death. After all, you’re far too weak," Darkness said.

"Bastard, don’t look down on me! I’ll swallow you whole!" the Beast Tamer roared aloud. Its elephant-like snout suddenly split open in the middle, revealing a mouth full of sharp fangs.

"Turns out, it isn’t a nose at all," Darkness said.

"No matter what it is, you’re doomed today!" the Beast Tamer bellowed, and the sharp fangs exploded outwards, scattering across the sky. Catalyzed by Divine Power, the fangs grew wildly, quickly forming a massive storm of teeth!

"Be torn to shreds by me, you idiot!" the Beast Tamer cackled.

"I’ll still repeat my previous statement to you, you’re thinking too much," Darkness charged forward, with the tooth storm in pursuit behind her.

"Hahaha, keep running desperately, my tooth storm will catch you no matter where you flee!" the Beast Tamer declared nonchalantly.

"Really?" After spinning around, Darkness suddenly charged towards the direction of the Beast Tamer.

"You think these tooth storms will attack me? No! They will avoid me and only target you!" the Beast Tamer asserted without even moving an inch.

"I don’t buy that." Darkness’s blade clashed once more with the Beast Tamer, and indeed, as the Beast Tamer claimed, the tooth storm did not accidentally hurt the Beast Tamer but instead kept seeking opportunities to attack Darkness from behind.

"How annoying," Darkness was getting irritated. For such a minor character, if she was not deliberately trying to hide her identity, why would she allow it to hop around here?

Wait a moment, she originally just did not want outsiders to know her strength, but if she wanted to hide her strength, there was actually a much simpler way!

Darkness immediately increased her offensive; the Beast Tamer was never her match, and with a bit of seriousness, the Beast Tamer was suppressed and pushed back. At this moment, the direction in which the Beast Tamer was retreating was that of the star burning with resplendent Divine Power.

This star, made purely of Divine Power, was nothing special; after all, in the Divine Realm, no one would lack Divine Power if they had special need for it, which is why the Beast Tamer hadn’t paid any attention to its impending approach to the edge of the star.

The ancient Divine Texts orbiting the star’s edge all made way for the two, as they both fell into the star.

"Hahaha! You fool! You actually drove me into this star! With the infinite Divine Power here, my tooth storm is invincible!" The Beast Tamer, immersed in the boundless Divine Power and filled with an unprecedented sense of plenitude, was brimming with confidence.

"Is that so? Well then, I am really curious to see how you claim to be invincible!" At the instant, Divine Status surged to its pinnacle; with a swing of her blade, she shattered the Divine Soul!

It was just a moment. It was only a slight burst of Divine Status that Rom and the others felt from the outside world. Then, they heard the roar of the Star Devouring Giant Beast from beyond the star system, followed by a divine wail of a god falling!

"A god has died! Could it be the Beast Tamer?" Rom cried out incredulously.

The next moment, Darkness flew out from within the Divine Power star, while the Divine Status emitted from the star was being devoured by Darkness.

"Run! She has actually killed the Beast Tamer!" shouted a deity next to Rom.

"Run? It wasn’t us who killed the Beast Tamer, why should we flee? It’s not our fault if Legion comes knocking!" another deity beside Rom retorted.

"You fool! Why do you think he is called the Beast Tamer? That’s because he controls a powerful Giant Beast!" Rom roared.

"Giant Beast..."

All three deities glanced towards the Giant Beast outside the star system, only to see that the beast’s body was splitting apart! A huge golden sphere expanded from within its body, bursting it open!

Following that, the golden sphere emitted endless beams of Divine Power, completely shredding the Star Devouring Giant Beast, resulting in the fall of its Divine Soul!
