Chapter 1303 - 1051: The Giant’s Passage
Rongka was sent back by Blood Raven Dandi. Ever since Long Yi activated the genes within Dandi’s body, all the Dandis merged into one. The energy of countless Dandis fusing together was extremely astonishing, elevating Dandi to become a new emperor who could almost sit on an equal footing with the Eternal Emperor Rongka.
However, the relationship between Dandi and Rongka had always been quite harmonious, so there shouldn’t have been any conflicts between them.
"We found His Majesty Rongka in the center of the Blood Sea, where he was entangled in a fight with a monster. The monster had a bizarre appearance and was immensely powerful, and it took the combined effort of His Majesty Rongka and me to defeat it. However, His Majesty Rongka had already sustained serious injuries and needed Hell Sludge for his recovery," Dandi explained the situation in the simplest terms.
At that moment, Rongka looked like a dying old man. Though there were no visible injuries on his body, there wasn’t the slightest sign of life activities. If it weren’t for the occasional surge of power from Hell, Tilian would have thought he was just a statue.
Tilian didn’t dare delay, hurrying to the bubbling site of the Hell Sludge with Rongka.
That place was beneath the magnificent Imperial Palace of Rongka—a very simple black Giant Pool. This was the birthplace of Rongka and also where the power of Hell was most concentrated.
Tilian gently placed Rongka into the black sludge, like putting hot metal into water, and the black Sludge actually began to boil. An inexplicable power surged out from Rongka’s body, seemingly trying to purify the surrounding Hell Sludge, while the power of Hell fiercely pounced on it, attempting to devour this strange power. After several bouts, the inexplicable power residing in Rongka’s body was limited, and it was soon completely torn apart by the power of Hell. Then the Hell Sludge began to quietly heal Rongka.
"He should be fine now," Tilian sighed in relief.
Dandi, too, let out a breath of relief and took out a small golden Tetrahedron from his personal space. "Have you ever seen this before?" Dandi asked.
"An Eternal solid, possibly related to the Divine Envoy, but unfortunately, I have never seen it," Tilian answered.
Tilian took the Eternal solid, only to find that it was missing a corner, and its interior was hollow.
"Actually, Brother Long once saved a Divine Envoy in the Human Realm. That Divine Envoy left a very good impression on me. But the monster that His Majesty Rongka and I defeated together, it’s very likely to be a mutated Divine Envoy. I could feel an impure Divine Power and Divine Status emanating from the monster," Dandi said.
"A mutated Divine Envoy? Aren’t Divine Envoys supposed to be a part of the gods themselves? How could they mutate?" Tilian asked, surprised, looking at the Eternal solid in his hand.
"That’s exactly the problem. I don’t know what’s really happening. We’ll have to wait for His Majesty Rongka to wake up and explain," Dandi sighed and then suddenly looked up, speaking in a low voice, "If Brother Long were here, that would be great. He would definitely know what to do."
Tilian smiled wryly. Could Long Yi truly be of help with such a situation? After all, this was about dealing with a being at the level of the gods. Of course, he thought this to himself and dared not say it out loud. After all, it wasn’t appropriate to say such things, considering Long Yi was a Giant.
Suddenly, a surge of energy came from the Hell Sludge, and the Eternal Emperor Rongka started coughing violently, expelling some golden blood from his lungs. However, the golden blood did not fall into the sludge but was enveloped by Rongka’s power and suspended in mid-air.
"Cough cough, it’s not easy to get divine blood, hahaha!" Rongka laughed weakly.
"You were almost dead!" Tilian said reprovingly.
"That’s why I chose the Blood Sea as the location to open the space gate. I knew Dandi had enough strength to help me deal with that mutated Divine Envoy!" Rongka was still smiling, but his spirit was recovering quickly.
"You’re really lucky. I have been away from Hell for quite a long time recently, searching for news about Brother Long, and I just happened to return to the Blood Sea now," Dandi said.
"Hm, so first, I should thank my good luck then! Hahaha!" Rongka laughed as if he were a child.
"So, what exactly were you doing?" Tilian asked, looking at the golden blood floating in front of Rongka.
"Me? I’ve discovered an enormous secret," Rongka said.
"What secret?" Tilian inquired.
"Do I need to step out for a bit?" Dandi also asked.
"No need, no need. This kind of thing will be known to the entire multi-universe sooner or later." Rongka supported the golden blood in front of him with one hand and said, "I know where the Giants are!"
"Giants!" Though Tilian lacked a heartbeat, he felt as if all the energy in his body had come to a halt.
"Where?" Dandi quickly pressed.
"On the outskirts of the Heavenly Kingdom!" Rongka revealed.
"The outer realms of Heavenly Kingdom? Where is that?" Tilian and Dandi asked almost simultaneously.
"In the upper layers of the Divine Realm." Rongka continued.
"Divine Realm?" Yet another new term.
"Just as you imagine it to be, it is indeed the kingdom of the gods." Rongka said.
"Gods!" Tilian and Dandi exchanged a look, each seeing the shock in the other’s eyes.
"That’s right, gods. You may not know this, but there are quite a few gods within the Divine Realm! And there has always been war among those gods. This time, I made a huge profit!" Rongka said excitedly.
"Your Majesty Rongka, could you tell us everything that you’ve done in full detail?" Tilian asked solemnly.
"It was an extremely astonishing adventure," Rongka said, his eyes alight with excitement.
Rongka loved knowledge, loved to explore worlds that were unknown to him. Long deprived of novel knowledge, he had grown unbearably bored. So, he too joined in the exploration of Giants’ history, but his exploration differed completely from Tilian’s.
Rongka was very powerful, and with his extraordinary strength, he could extend his reach into every corner of the multiverse. Information from across the multiverse was constantly being collected, becoming part of Rongka’s knowledge. Then, one day, Rongka suddenly discovered a strange plane portal in a corner of the upper planes.
There was a plane above the upper planes; this was common knowledge recognized by all in the upper planes. That plane was where the Giant stars resided, also where the descending Heavenly Kingdom was located, the place where countless individuals fought for knowledge. It was never noticed that there wasn’t just one portal leading to this plane.
The first was that extremely dangerous passage where anyone, no matter how strong, would lose all their power upon entering and become mortals. And within that passage lay all kinds of dangers, which were very difficult for mere mortals to pass through successfully.
The second passage was the plane portal established by the Celestial Clan. Originally, the Celestial Clan was the Giants’ favorite race, and the Giants spared no effort to help the Celestial Clan become the existence with the most advanced technology in the plane, which naturally included plane technology. So, when the Celestial Clan learned there was a plane above the upper planes, they immediately began constructing the plane portal. After countless sacrifices and time, the portal was finally built. This portal was also the path that all warriors had to take to join the Eternal Battlefield.
What Rongka discovered, however, was a third passage.
This portal was located inside a certain planet, right at the central point. The interior of that planet was comprised entirely of crystals, which formed a very special Resonance. This Resonance perfectly synchronized with a planet within that plane. And it was this synchrony that helped Rongka establish a new portal.
Of course, this was no coincidence. Both planets bore clear traces of the Giants’ creation. That is to say, the Giants had already established a portal in the past, it was just unknown to all.
Through this portal, Rongka arrived at that plane. The war was happening on a planet within that plane. Rongka avoided that planet and started roaming within the plane. He discovered that the plane was actually quite small and quickly reached the border of the plane.
The border of the plane, usually referred to as the end of time and space, was something no one could pass through. But Rongka found another portal right there at this border.
At some location along the border, there was a large metallic device, nearly as large as half a planet, standing in space like a ring. The various Runes and Arrays on the device proved that it was definitely created by the Giants.
The Giants would certainly not have constructed such a massive device without reason. At that moment, Rongka suspected that it was through this device that the Giants broke the end of time and space, the border of the plane, and entered a plane even higher than this one.
Driven by curiosity, Rongka decided to reactivate the device.
For this purpose, he spent a long time studying the device. With his understanding of the Giants, they liked to make everything foolproof, so that even a child could use it with ease. And indeed, he finally found a control panel in a certain location, with just one button on it. It was written in the Giants’ language: ’Activate’.
Yes, that’s just how the Giants were, their creations always required only one button to operate.
So, Rongka activated the device, and just as he had anticipated, the enormous device did indeed open a new plane portal at this location!
If it were Tilian at this moment, he certainly wouldn’t dare to venture into the portal. But Rongka was different; he had confidence in his own strength. He believed that his power certainly stood at the pinnacle within this multiverse.
With this confidence, he entered the portal.
And what he saw truly frightened him.
As the Eternal Emperor of Hell, Rongka was rarely surprised or scared by anything. But this time, he truly felt fear.
Because, before his eyes, he saw an epic war that spanned ages. (To be continued. If you like this work, welcome to Qidian (qidian.com) to vote for recommendation tickets and monthly tickets. Your support is my greatest motivation. Mobile users please go to m.qidian.com to read.)
