Chapter 1304 - 1052: The Battle of Gods
```
Two unimaginably powerful beings, situated at opposite ends of the plane, continually struck at each other with such terrifying energy that it constantly burst forth, ripping through space-time again and again. Countless planets shattered with their mere gestures, and just as many reformed with their breaths!
"Is that, the Divine Realm?" Tilian asked laboriously.
"Yes, that is the Divine Realm. I don’t know how I came to know this, but in that instant, I simply knew. Look, I even don’t understand why I could see them at the ends of the plane, nor do I know why I could see the birth and destruction of stars. But at that time, everything inexplicably flooded into my consciousness. Merely standing there, I felt as though I could do anything," Rongka said with a smile.
Both sides were deeply immersed in their own battle, and Rongka dared not make any reckless move. For the first time, Rongka felt so insignificant that, in his opinion, the opponents could obliterate him with just a thought.
However, at a certain moment, everything changed.
After enduring almost the full force of the exploding stars, one of the gods was wounded! A few drops of golden blood traversed space-time, appearing before Rongka. The energy contained within that golden blood was so suffocating that Rongka couldn’t help but reach out and grasp the blood in his hands. But that was divine blood! Rongka’s hand was instantly crushed by the astonishing energy contained within the blood. This did not startle the wounded god, but it did snap Rongka out of his dazed enchantment.
This is the Divine Realm, those are the two gods in combat, and in front of me is the blood of a god!
To keep this blood or not?
Rongka asked himself.
Are you joking? This was a treasure that was almost within grasp!
Even though the divine blood’s energy was tremendous, after all, it did not possess a consciousness of its own; it was not a living thing. So, Rongka began his attempt to capture the blood. After several tries, he finally found the right magic. However, the moment he captured that droplet of blood, a terrifying figure crossed the spatial boundaries and suddenly appeared before Rongka! Caught off guard, Rongka only saw darkness before his eyes and heard an enraged roar beside his ear, "What insect dares to touch the divine blood!"
But that pressure vanished instantly because that divine majesty was neutralized by another, accompanied by mocking laughter, "Give it up, fool. Whether in divine power or faith, you are no match for me. Hand over your divine status and scram out of the Divine Realm!"
Then, another epic battle ensued.
Without the pressure, Rongka hurriedly thought of leaving, but another problem arose—the passage that had brought him there had vanished! Now what? In this Divine Realm, time and space seemed to lose their meaning, and Rongka had no clue how to leave. Meanwhile, that enraged divine majesty appeared once more, the furious god attempting to slay Rongka. But at that moment, Rongka only felt a sudden shift in space-time, and he was no longer in his original position.
"Hahaha, you want to kill him, and I’ll just not allow it! Come on, scum, let’s see what you can do?" another god taunted.
Thus, around Rongka, a series of contentions and battles between the two gods took place.
Honestly, Rongka had lived for tens of thousands of years, but never had he felt this tense. For even a slight contingency from the gods’ clashing strikes would annihilate him completely from the multiverse, leaving nothing behind, not even his soul or energy. But the god protecting Rongka seemed to be more powerful.
The two gods contended over Rongka for a while, then released him and returned to their barrage of blows. Rongka, clutching the divine blood, drifted within the plane.
Suddenly, he sensed something off about space-time in a particular area. He let himself drift toward it and realized that space bore the mark of a Giant! The mark was extremely covert; had Rongka not closely studied Giant culture, and just used a Giant device to travel through planes, he would have never noticed the Giant mark here!
He approached the mark as inconspicuously as possible and discovered that it could be activated!
Without hesitating, he decisively activated the mark, and suddenly, with a twist in space-time, Rongka arrived in a grand, gold-glittering vast space. Around him were towering figures bustling about, various magical symbols flowing through the skies above.
Are these Giants? Rongka gazed in surprise at the tall humanoid life forms around him, feeling even more excited than he thought he’d be.
"Eh? A life form from Hell?" A Giant approached, asking in astonishment.
"A life form from Hell? We have guests!" An elder approached, surprised at the sight of Rongka.
"Old Walter?" Rongka looked at the man in surprise.
"Rongka? It’s you? Hahahaha, it turns out to be an old friend!" The man was indeed Old Walter, the person in charge of the Giant’s space-time travel project.
"My goodness, where have you Giants been hiding exactly?" Rongka looked around; it was indoors, or perhaps inside a ship, he couldn’t tell where.
Old Walter chuckled helplessly, "Don’t mention it. We are currently trapped between the Divine Realm and the Heavenly Kingdom, in a gap of sorts. The current chaos in the Divine Realm has made space-time very unstable, affecting our travel plans as well."
"I have many questions to ask you," Rongka said.
"Actually, I have a more important question for you, Rongka. Have you ever heard of a Giant pioneer named Long Yi?" Old Walter asked.
"Yes, I have not only heard of him but also met him. At that time, he had already made the Dragon Clan and humans of the Human Realm coexist peacefully. Then he went to the Lower Plane and is said to be close to entering the Middle Plane now. Why, is he important?" Rongka inquired.
"Our only chance of escape after being trapped here for nearly ten thousand years, do you think he’s important?" Old Walter said helplessly.
No sooner had he spoken than a violent tremor suddenly ran through their surroundings.
"What’s going on?" Old Walter asked loudly.
```
"It’s a time-space quake! Some gods are attacking the barrier we set up!" a Giant shouted.
"No, you can’t stay here. The barrier won’t hold for much longer. Once the barrier fails, we’ll have to launch the singularity weapon and exchange blows with them. You’re still under time-space law protection and can leave this place, but as soon as we launch the singularity weapon, you’ll immediately lose the protection of the time-space laws. You’d be completely shattered. I’ll send you away right now," Old Walter said.
"Before you send me away, at least answer a few of my questions!" Rongka, finally seeing a Giant, had a bellyful of questions to ask.
"One question!" Old Walter had already activated the teleportation device.
"Are the Giants and gods enemies?" Rongka asked.
"Which god?" Old Walter reflexively asked back.
"Of course, the god who created you!" Rongka could already feel the time-space vibrations.
"How could that be, when has a child ever considered their mother an enemy?" Old Walter laughed.
Then, Rongka was teleported out.
"It doesn’t sound all that thrilling. Why do you look so pitiful now?" Tilian asked.
"Because the place I was teleported to was wrong," Rongka laughed heartily this time.
It turned out that Rongka’s appearance was, incredibly, on Dragon Star!
The moment Rongka appeared with the Divine Blood, that False God on the Dragon Star immediately noticed. The blood was from a true god, and although it was only a few drops, the energy it contained was as bright and dazzling as a star to the False God.
So the False God promptly awakened countless members of the Dragon Clan to vie for it, but after all, Rongka was the Eternal Emperor of Hell. Although he felt powerless and weak between the two gods, there was no way he would fear these Dragons that had long since lost their power. Right now, he had no time to waste on these Dragons; he was eager to return to Hell to figure out what was going on with this Divine Blood. Therefore, Rongka didn’t pay attention to the Black Dragons chasing him and sought to speed up and shake them off.
But how could the False God let Rongka just leave like that?
Thus, she threw out an astonishing enemy.
"I don’t know what that monster is exactly, but it merged the Divine Power of gods with the bodies of the Dragon Clan, and also used a special method to unravel the Dragons’ curse. This new monster can’t even be called part of the Dragon Clan, but every attack it makes carries Divine Power, which dissolves all my defenses and also weakens my infernal power. It’s precisely because of this that I became like this, but, all in all, it’s been worth it!"
Rongka looked at the tiny ball of golden blood in front of him, exhaled deeply, and smiled happily.
"It seems that Brother Long is bound to face even greater challenges. I think I should become stronger. Otherwise, once I face those False Gods, I might be suppressed as well," Dandi said.
"Then, I think you’ll need this." Rongka handed a drop of golden Divine Blood to Dandi.
"Why? Isn’t this what you’ve fought so hard to bring back?" Dandi asked, puzzled.
"First, as a Blood Raven, you have a deeper understanding of blood than I do, and I reckon you’ll be able to unleash the full power of this Divine Blood. Secondly, I’ve seen the Giants with my own eyes, and I’ve heard about their war with the gods. I think that in the future, when Long Yi returns to the midst of the Giants, he will certainly need someone like you who is familiar with divine assistance," Rongka said.
"Thank you, Your Majesty, I think I must accept this gift," Dandi said.
Dandi used the same magic as Rongka to take the drop of golden Divine Blood, then quickly left Rongka’s Imperial Palace. Watching Dandi leave, Tilian suddenly asked Rongka, "Your Majesty, is there anything you haven’t said about Long Yi?"
Rongka gave a slight smile and said, "You’re sharp as always, guessing even this."
Tilian said, "Because the matter about Long Yi seems too brief. Generally, when both sides have a common topic, they tend to talk for a while."
Rongka nodded and said, "Yes, we did talk a lot about Long Yi. I thought about it and still decided not to tell Dandi, because it seems a bit unusual."
"What exactly is it?" Tilian pressed.
"Do you know what mission Long Yi has?" Rongka turned the question on Tilian.
"Since you ask that way, are you suggesting it’s not just as simple as being a Pioneer?"
"You wouldn’t believe it if I told you." The smile disappeared from Rongka’s face as he spoke seriously.
"Try me, I’ll believe," Tilian responded.
Rongka leaned close to Tilian, lowered his voice to the faintest whisper, and said something quietly.
"What—!" Tilian’s expression became so exaggerated it was as if he had heard the most unbelievable news. (To be continued.
